edra - Jubilé floor mirror

Large wall or floor mirror composed of 25 irregular mirror shapes, of different shapes and sizes. Jubilé is a work of great value and high artistic value. The randomness of the assembly, pure philosophy of the Campana brothers, is made with a high compositional and constructive wisdom, geometrically perfect.
The particular irregular manual grinding of each of the 149 sides of the shapes, makes each fragment special and unique and creates extraordinary reflections.

Fernando e Humberto Campana

Humberto Campana, lawyer and Fernando Campana, architect, have been working together in San Paolo since 1983 in the field of artistic design. Their radical point of view is strengthened by the use of poor materials and industrial rubbish. Hand-made products represent the possibility of social redemption in a poor country. Their intention is to find a way for Brazilian design. In Italy, in 1997,they designed lights for O Luce. Some of their pieces appear in the International Design Year Book of 1997, edited by Philippe Starck. In 1998 the Moma in New York dedicated the "Progetto 66" exhibition to them, coupled with Ingo Maurer.

edra

edra is the contraction of exedra, which, in Greek and Roman grand buildings, was a room completely open on one side, with seats in the atrium. A courtly place made for talking and socialising. edra was born in 1987 in Tuscany.
