Davide Groppi - Infinito 12 System Plug Kit 2700K

An ultra-thin strip of special stainless steel just 18 mm wide “cuts” the space to produce indirect light. Infinito can be adapted to various situations, stretched from wall to wall or ceiling to floor. It comes in strips up to 24 metres in length (standard versions at 6 / 12 / 18 metres in length). Infinito breaks down the luminaire, turning it into something else, leaving only a trace, a line and then not even that, just light. This project pays homage to the art of Lucio Fontana and his spatial concepts.
The graphic force of this system is surprising. It can be integrated into space, but at the same time it becomes part of that space. Infinito: essence and absence.
Infinito in its versions of 6 and 12 meters can be integrated with our Endless system.

Davide Groppi

It all started in a small laboratory in the historical centre of the Italian town of Piacenza during the late 1980’s. Davide Groppi was inventing and producing his first lamps and decided simply to use his own name for the name of the company.
Over time, creative independence and management have allowed him to develop his own brand of original and unique products, distributed the world over.
Projects that come from heart and mind, intuitions that emerge from a certain way of being and thinking, in which simplicity, lightness, emotion, invention and amazement are the fundamental elements.

Davide Groppi creations come about through the need to give life to something that is necessary or significant.
The things that inspire these ideas are works of art, ready-made objects, magic, the desire to make things with his hands or simply the urge to play and have fun with light.
