Louis Poulsen - Flindt Parete wall lamp

The new Flindt wall lamp joins the well-known Flindt bollard with expressive lighting and a bold and sculptural design carefully designed for indoor and outdoor spaces. Based on the same sloping concept of the cylindrical bollard Flindt, the wall Flindt follows the elegant expression of circular shapes. The wall Flindt is distinguished by the emission of light from an opening in the upper part that directs the light downwards, in the front part of the lamp and creates a ring of light reflected thin and bright in the transition between concave and convex shapes. The oval shape raised with respect to the fixing surface gives the lamp a light and floating appearance. In designing the three dimensions of the Flindt wall, designer Christian Flindt used a combination of software, 3D printing and metal casting to achieve a perfect balance between proportions, curves and light.

Christian Flindt

Christian Flindt (1972-) graduated with an MAA and MDD from Aarhus School of Architecture in 2002. He then started his own design company in 2003. Here, he placed high emphasis on communication between people, and his focus on this area finds expression in his approach to re-evaluating furniture.
