Ingo Maurer -  MOODMOON wall lamp 

Analogy meets digital elements. Poetry meets technology. MOODMOON is a decorative wall lamp that combines innovation and tradition in the interaction between LED technology and Japanese paper. Through an app, users can choose from 14 different light atmospheres and color gradients and change the atmosphere of a room according to their sensitivity. In this way, the moods of MOODMOON, which are partly static and partly moving, can be adapted to the desired personal needs. The designer Sebastian Hepting, who has been part of the Ingo Maurer team for 17 years, developed the idea of the MOODMOON device in Lockdown time 2020, when the house is used for different purposes - from work to home education, to the place of relaxation - and the demands for light are very versatile. MOODMOON focuses on the individual well-being of people and thus reflects the concept of Human Centric Lighting

Since the mid-1960s he has been creating special lamps and unique pieces that as an entrepreneur he produces and distributes worldwide.Since 1970 the headquarters of Ingo Maurer GmbH in Munich has been in the Schwabing district. A few years ago, however, the production and shipping departments moved to the outskirts of Munich having become in 2005 too cramped for space in the back yard at Kaiserstrasse 47.It has two large showrooms-the second after New York and the only one in all of Europe.
From creating lamps and lighting systems, setting up exhibitions and trade show appearances has been an increasing demand for the realization of designs, lighting planning and interior architectural work. Today, projects are an important component of our business.
