Tom Dixon - Bash Vessel Wide

Bash is one of our series of products whose name could not be more appropriate. Large sheets of annealed brass then beaten, pounded and dented. Until now they were large bowls and serving plates, but we felt the lack of plates and extra large pots. Something to hold a flowering cherry branch, to be used as an umbrella stand, or even as an unusual paper basket. The tray is perfect for parties with many guests and party snacks. Baptized with a suitable name ('bash' means 'strike'), these vessels are made from a single brass plate, hand-hammered to its final shape, so expressive and lively, and are available in sumptuous gold and silver shades. Each piece will have an inimitable shape. They are presented in a gift box and are decorative items ideal for use as a flower pot, fruit bowl or contemporary sculpture.

In 2019, he received a silver medal for Best Garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and in the same year, was awarded the prestigious London Design Medal at the British Land Celebration of Design Awards.
