Venini - Murrine Romane vase H18
Rome, its myths, its culture and its art are alive again in these creations of timeless beauty. The purity of the forms and essentiality of the geometries of the Murrine find in this work by Carlo Scarpa, in edition numbered by year, a perfect harmony and the chromatic composition creates effects capable of evoking a world that was real and that today becomes dreamlike.
Carlo Scarpa
Carlo Scapra has established itself in the post-war period thanks to important installations, particularly in Venice: the exhibition of Paul Klee for the XXIV Biennale, the 1950 Art Book Pavilion and the Italian Pavilion at the XXVI Biennale.
In 1932 he started working with VENINI, becoming its artistic director until 1946.
Venini
For more than a century, the best master glassmakers and artists have met at the Fornace, founded by Paolo Venini, giving life to a story of excellence and innovation that begins in Italy but later spread all over the world.
The excellence of this brand is the result of the special combination of the exclusive techniques of the Murano tradition. The latter are guarded by the wisdom of the most skilled glassmakers masters, the experimental creativity of artists from all over the world. This is because in the Fornace nothing is left to chance.
Moreover, the high quality is the reflection of the constant search for perfection and the passion for innovation that characterize each stage of realization, in a perfect balance between manual craftsmanship and daring creativity, far from the fads. Finally, choosing VENINI means making your own a work of art of inestimable value, for culture, beauty and workmanship.
