Patricia Urquiola

Patricia Urquiola was born in Oviedo, Spain. After studying at the University of Architecture in Madrid, she graduated from the Politecnico di Milano, in 1989 with Achille Castiglioni and in 2001 she opened her studio. Being a designer as much Spanish as Italian has certainly influenced her work, bringing together the rigor of a Milanese education with a whimsical side coming from her origins. She has created several projects and collections for Molteni & C. The Diamond table won the Red Dot Award as the best product of 2005. Molteni

Angelo Molteni, born in 1912, began his entrepreneurial activity in Giussano, now the province of Monza and Brianza, the furniture district.
