Knoll - Grasshopper d152 table with black base
The company presents Grasshopper, a collection of tables designed by Piero Lissoni, a perfect combination of pure geometry and design synthesis. The modern table is the place where key decisions are made, hosting a range of functions from family meetings to business meetings. The elegance of Grasshopper comes from its combination of surfaces and structure: the surfaces are distinguished by their slenderness and are available with an innovative rectangular shape, incorporating rounded corners, or in a circular format, while the structure is composed of very thin elements in die-cast steel available in chrome, burnished or painted finishes. The table top is available in unusual and exquisite stone, such as Ruby Red marble, glass and woods.
Piero Lissoni
Piero Lissoni began his career as a furniture designer after graduating in architecture at the Politecnico di Milano. In 1986 he founded his own studio, specializing in architecture, furniture, interior and graphic design. It produced a diverse portfolio that included projects for showrooms, yachts, private residences and hotels.
