Studio Klass
Studio Klass, in 2009 Marco Maturo and Alessio Roscini founded Studio Klass, an industrial design agency based in Milano.
The Studio operates in several areas, from furniture to product design and, over the years, has worked with Italian and international well-known companies, presenting its products during many design fairs and events in Milan, Paris and New York.
The work of Studio Klass aims to innovate function and the way of use products, with a particular attention to colours combination and materials. From 2009 Since 2009 they have been collaborating with Azzurra Ceramica, cc-tapis, Fiam Italia, FontanaArte, Ichendorf, Lavazza, Ligne Roset, Normann- Copenhagen, UniFor. and also they are both professors at istituto Europeo di Design of Milan
Their awards include the German Design Award 2018, Red Dot Award 2015, IF Design Award 2014 and Adi Design Index 2015.
Fiam
Vittorio Livi has always had a passion: glass.
The first company he founded, Fullet, produced colored glass for the furniture industry. This was followed by Artiglass, Curvovetro, Cromoglass and Vellutart.
From the merger of some of these companies, FIAM, the first company to make curved glass furniture elements, was born in 1973. Thanks to its technology and collaborations with well-known international designers, FIAM became a leader in its field and some of its products are exhibited in 25 international museums.
After being involved in the renovation of Montegridolfo, a walled village dating back to the 7th century B.C., in 1992 Vittorio Livi acquires and rehabilitates Villa Miralfiore, a historic building in Pesaro dating back to 1260.
Part of the villa is dedicated to Spazio Miralfiore, a museum of glass works produced by Livi and numerous national and international artists.
