Sculpture table, perfect synthesis of beauty and harmony of proportions, presented at Salone 2015. Iconic Design Award 2015, Good Design Award 2016, Red Dot Award for the category Product Design 2016. In the encounter of two volumes, the perfect balance of one on the other is achieved. Two cones of different shape meet at their opposite vertices defying gravity in a seemingly unstable balance, but giving shape to the most classic of round tables. Clay is the exception that becomes rule,  like design.

Marc Krusin

Marc Krusin began his career in Italy where he worked tirelessly at the heart of the Milanese design scene for more than 13 years.

He became Piero Lissoni's right-hand-man and associate, leading all types of projects from product to interior design for clients of international reputation. 

In 2009 he opened his own studio in London and continues to design spaces and products for custumers in several countries around the world. These include Knoll and Desalto for whom he created the award-winning Clay table, which has become one of the company's icons, and the Mini Clay series of occasional tables.

In addition to designing, Marc has taught and lectured at universities in Europe and Australia and regularly speaks about his experience at events and conferences.

Desalto

Desalto is a company that for nearly 30 years has been spreading around the world a product idea based on constant technical and technological research focused on greater functionality. 30 years of activity make Desalto a young brand, but also a historic one. The company boasts of one and the other dimension: a young spirit capable of combing together iconic chairs and complements, like graphic signs traced in the air, with tables as adaptable as everyday life is. But also of a story which began in 1990when the four Orsenigo brothers imagine a reality that responded to the times, making use of the collaboration of designers.
