Unifor - Scrivania Lessless Color Longho Design Palermo

The new workstations, which are available in a range of different sizes (square, rectangular and L-shaped), feature an exclusive worktop with integrated Forbo linoleum insert in the same colour as the aluminium structure. Completing the series is a range of tables equipped with cable access, a leg designed to allow wiring to pass through it and a basket for organising the cabling. These solutions serve to conceal the technology, which is always there yet never on show.

This is a furnishing series in continuous evolution: with the addition of a carefully chosen color selection and new components and structural details, the system presents a vision of the contemporary office space that is joyful and fun to be in, with tables, desks, containers, and chromatic combinations that can be freely arranged to suit the user. The tables and desks of this line of task furnishings feature an exclusive table top with an insert in Forbo linoleum in the same color as the aluminum frame, for a sleek monochrome effect. The series is completed by a range of tables with cable hatches, legs that double as cable risers, and cable baskets below the table top. Each monochromatic workstation can be completed with drawer pedestals and document storage cabinets with doors, in various heights. Available in a range of colors, they permit any office environment to be personalized with an additional touch of refined design elegance.

Jean Nouvel

Jean Nouvel was born in 1945 in Fumel, France. The first approach to design stems from the need to create objects for one's own architectures, such as the Less table, produced by Molteni & C. for the headquarters of the Cartier Foundation. The design activity of the designers' Ateliers responds to the desire to develop a "design of architecture". After graduating from the National High School of Fine Arts in Paris in 1972, he opened his own studio. In 1981 he won the competition for the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris. Since then he has received many awards: the Grand Prix National d'Architecture, the Gold Medal of the Royal Institute of British Architects, the Golden Lion of the Venice Biennale and the Pritzker Prize, the nobel for architecture, in 2008.

Unifor

UniFor began manufacturing office furniture in 1969. From that time forward its production has continued to develop along a path that has earned the company its place as one of the main protagonists of five important decades in the history of Italian design. Collaborating over the years with prestigious, internationally renowned architects, both for the realization of new products  and for the constant improvement of lines already in production, UniFor has made significant contributions to the success of the Made in Italy brand. UniFor was born with a precise vocation: to create interior landscapes that interpret and translate into reality the indications of its clients and those of contemporary architects. This commitment has involved the transfer of the artisanal culture of the wood-working district of Brianza, in northern Italy, based on close collaboration between industry and designer, to the international sphere, leading to the development of an organic and coordinated approach to furnishing public and private spaces according to their unique identities. Specialized in large-scale projects, with an all-embracing international presence and a close collaborative relationship with the most prestigious architectural firms, UniFor has operated since the very beginning (1969) as a factory workshop at the disposal of the best creative talents. Unifor products are standard, as much as possible; customized, when required. Unifor has the expertise and availability to develop and produce customized solutions to meet specific project needs.
