Artemide - Meteorite 48 table Lamp
A family of lamps available in fi ve different versions: table, table with stem, floor, wall/ceiling and suspension.Materials: blown glass diffuser; lamp body in technopolymer. Meteorite Stem Table 15 and 35 feature respectively a chromed aluminium and a steel stem.Version 48 rests on a steel base.Specifi cation: the diffuser is made of a double layer of artistic glass, obtained through a ‘stampo a fermo’ mould-blowing technique and then grinding.
Pio & Tito Toso
The two brothers were born in 1973 and 1971 in Venice, where they graduated in architecture in 1998. In 1996 they opened the design firm PIO&TITOTOSO Design. They work in the field of architecture through several national and international projects, and participate in competitions. They also cooperate with highly qualified companies in the furnishing and design industry, including Artemide, Foscarini, Leucos, Venini, Vistosi for lighting, as well as Alessi, Pedrali, Colombo design, Guzzini, Metalco, Segis for furnishing. They design stands, displays, stores, offices, and warehouses for different companies, supervising their image and graphics.
Their acknowledgements include: Red Dot Design Award 2017, Index Compasso d'Oro 2016, Design Plus 2016, Selected at the International Compasso d'Oro 2015, Red Dot Design Award 2015, Red Dot Design Award 2012, Good Design Award 2009, selected at I.Dot 2006-2007, Young & design 2005.
They participated in exhibitions in Europe and in the US.
