The Njp lamp provides direct horizontal glare-free light, while reflecting part of the light through the back of the head, illuminating the upper part of the arm. The ergonomic design of the luminaire head gives the light its shape and gives it an optimal direction. A simple mechanical system ensures great freedom of movement, so that the light is always set in the ideal position in the working space. The lampshade is painted white inside, and produces a diffused and pleasant reflection of the light.
Louis Poulsen - Njp table lamp
This lamp was designed by Japanese design studio Nendo and designer Oki Sato. NJP Tavolo is a new interpretation of the classic architect’s lamp. Its simple and direct appearance contains the functional components of the lamp and makes its expression immediately understandable. The applications of the lamp have been considered in every detail. The two joints on the arm offer great flexibility, making it easy to set the position of the lamp. In addition to this, the joint springs are exposed and thus contribute to the decorative expression of the lamp. Similarly, the rear opening of the lampshade towards the arm ensures continuous adjustment of the head and ventilation of the LED units.
