Equilibrist, Two lamps, dissimilar, in rotation, in revolution, that rotate around a vertical axis like a balance looking for balance.
Artemide - Equilibrist table lamp
Two lamps like a balance looking for balance. The Equilibrista is a signal and lusorio object: two dissimilar lamps, in rotation, in revolution that rotate around a vertical axis. A kind of high-tech traffic light in which signals emit dissimmetric light. Brightness regulator, with separate switch switching
dimmer.
Jean Nouvel
Jean Nouvel was born in 1945 in Fumel, France. The first approach to design stems from the need to create objects for their architecture, such as the Less table, produced by Molteni & C. for the headquarters of the Cartier Foundation.
The design activity of the designers' ateliers responds to the desire to develop an "architectural design".
After graduating from the National High School of Fine Arts in Paris in 1972, he opened his own studio. In 1981 he won the competition for the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris. Since then he has received many awards: the Grand Prix National d'Architecture, the Gold Medal of the Royal Institute of British Architetcts, the Golden Lion of the Venice Biennale and the Pritzker Prize, the Nobel Prize for Architecture, in 2008.
