The lamp resembles a sea animal that dances lightly, cradled by a soft brightness, hence the name: Kurage, jellyfish in Japanese.
Foscarini - Kurage table lamp
A table lamp made of washi paper handmade by Japanese artisans, on thin ash legs, Kurage is born from the search for lightness in light, from which every element of the project derives. From the collaboration between the Italian designer Luca Nichetto and the Japanese studio Nendo, a project with a poetic and artisanal spirit was born. The lamp resembles a sea animal that dances lightly, cradled by a soft brightness, hence the name: Kurage, jellyfish in Japanese.

Foscarini
Foscarini imagines, develops and produces decorative lamps: night and day, they seduce if lit; they surprise when turned off. With our design objects we transform living spaces: we offer beauty, we move emotions. From the beginning, independence from productive constraints translates into freedom of thought. 35 years of collaborations with designers of international level and with the masters of the territory, and a long series of iconic lamps that dialogue with an environment - domestic or collective - and with those who experience it. Our constant: a rigorous and passionate orientation to the project.
