Foscarini - Birdie table lamp LED

A thin support, like the stem of a young tree, a lighting system designed as a branch, ready to welcome a small bird, hence the name 'birdie', in English. A lamp that takes on different personalities depending on the color. "Birdie is a whole collection of lamps with a friendly character, made of resistant yet light materials, which reinterprets the classic shape of lamps with shade with a contemporary design".

Their is a bold design, without inconsistencies, equidistant from the excess of decoration and radical minimalism. Their design which aims to bring the greatest number of people together, originates from their research, mostly focused on industrial products and mass production, for a more democratic view. However, they has also explored that part of the artisan tradition that can preserve and transmit the culture of Italian know-how, confirming the dualistic and curious nature of their style. Their products are create to last, not only in the market but especially as silent and faithful companions in the lives of the people who choose them. This is the key of their success, the ability to offer lasting happiness and well-being in daily life in a world that screams and desperately seeks to be recognized. They have received several international awards and recognitions such as the Compasso D'Oro, the Elle Decoration International Design Award, the Red Dot, the Design Plus, the Good Design Award, the German Design Award.
