Table lamp with diffused light adjustable by rotating the petals on the base.
FontanaArte - Blom table lamp
The name comes from the shape of the lamp, which, with its petal-like blades, resembles a flower. The amount of light is adjustable thanks to the two petals that gently wrap around the diffuser and that, by rotating on the base, allow you to screen the luminous flux, customizing it according to your needs.
Andreas Engesvik
After studying art history at the University of Bergen in Norway, he earned a master’s degree in design from the National College of Art and Design. From there he started his career as one of the leading Norwegian and Scandinavian designers of furniture, objects, accessories and more. In 2000, Engesvik co-founded the internationally recognised studio Norway Says, which helped bring Norwegian design to the world stage at a time when Scandinavian design was widely recognised for its iconic past. "At the time, the design scene in Norway was very small and local," says Engesvik, "and when we went to Milan for the first time with a group of Norwegian designers, I wanted to make it clear that we were not ashamed to be Norwegians or to be part of the history of Scandinavian design".
