Luciano Vistosi
Luciano Vistosi was born in Murano on 24 February 1931. From a very young age, he breathed the scent of glass in his family’s furnace and learned all its secrets, driven by a curiosity and inventiveness that would bear fruit when he founded Vetreria Vistosi in 1952.
With foresight, he intuits the future success of the object-design, creating himself and involving prestigious brands such as Magistretti, Sottsass, Zanuso, Aulenti, and many others. The inventive freshness that is found in lamps, cups and in general in the objects of use successfully created by Luciano Vistosi until the 70s, underlie what is the true outcome of his talent. Sculpture.
