Flos - Luce orizzontale S1 suspension lamp

Suspension lamp consisting of interconnected glass modules reaching a length of 1,66 m (S1) 2,07 m (S2) 2,49 m (S3) with 2 suspended power cord,70 m. The cylindrical transparent glass modules are the result of an artisanal process that consists in pouring the glass into a rotating mold to obtain an exclusive finish that makes each piece unique. The internal structure in polished extruded aluminium is equipped with two linear LED modules that emit light directly and indirectly downwards. In case of maintenance, the modules can be easily removed and replaced. The power supply unit and the Dali dimmer are located inside the rose window, while the touch control button, positioned at one end of the product, allows the lamp to be controlled in three different modes.
Control options available: TOUCH Direct control through the lamp touch button. This option allows dimming and adjustment of the light intensity both upwards and downwards (individually or in combination) from 10% to 100%.
PUSH&TOUCH Remote switching on and off via the button and dimming and adjustment of the light intensity both upwards and downwards (individually or in combination) from 10% to 100% through the touch button integrated in the lamp.
DALI&TOUCH Remote switching on and off via DALI DT6 and dimming and adjustment of the light intensity both upwards and downwards (individually or in combination) from 10% to 100% through the touch button integrated in the lamp.

Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec

Formal perfection, clear lines and creative freedom. These are the watchwords in the designs of the French brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. Ronan Bouroullec (born 1971) and Erwan Bouroullec (born 1976), they both graduated in art and founded their own studio in the late 1990s.They have been working together for nearly a decade. After being noticed by Giulio Cappellini and receiving their first industrial design commissions, the brothers established themselves on the international scene thanks to a collaboration with Vitra. Bouroullec brothers work for some of the most important international design brands such as Ligne Roset, Flos, Magis, and are able to join essential shapes with innovative materials and environmentally friendly manufacturing. This allowed them to win, among other awards, the prestigious Wallpaper* Design Award 2016 in the category "Best Designers of the Year".
