Wiener GTV Design Thonet - Wagasa suspension lamp
Elegant and sophisticated contrasts characterize the design of Wagasa lamps, which define and enrich every type of environment, thanks to their unique and timeless style. Precious materials, geometric designs and details of the company tradition, enhance the essential lines of the two versions of lamps, floor and suspension, recalling the light oriental beauty. In the suspended version, the light Japanese rice paper contrasts with Vienna straw, an element chosen to recall the style of the brand, creating a delicate diffusion of light. The marble instead embellishes the floor version, adding a strong element in contrast with the thin stem. Material fabrics and bright colors define the lampshades, a further detail that gives these products a simple and refined elegance.
Servomuto
SERVOMUTO is a lighting design brand based in Milan. Since 2010 it has pursued an ambitious goal: to revisit a classic object such as the lampshade with a contemporary and highly sophisticated twist. The study and research behind each creation are visible in the continuous stylistic references to the world of architecture and distant places. Just like in a haute couture atelier, the lamps come to life: noble materials and fine fabrics are skilfully combined, experimenting with unusual colors and textures. The stylistic choices are sublimated by the proudly handmade workmanship. From curved metal structures, through pleats, to finishes applied by expert seamstresses: the "handmade" is more authentic than ever. The production "Haute Couture" deliberately contrasts with the mechanization of the large-scale manufacturing industry. The playful and dreamy look with which SERVOMUTO has always looked at the light marries the sartorial rigor. The result is much more than a lamp: an object with a unique design, strong evocative capacity and exquisitely Italian style.
