Louis Poulsen - Patera Oval suspension lamp

The suspension is a bright ellipsoid composed of diamond-shaped cells. Each cell has been carefully designed to capture light and shield the source from viewing angles greater than 40 degrees. Below 40 degrees the lamp allows direct and downward light. The circular opening below provides direct light with a soft transition to reflected light. The suspension can be used with or without diffusion plate, if the source is to create an unwanted reflection or not.
