In addition to aesthetics, Tide Buffet is presented as a large and functional sideboard with two drawers and a drop-down door for the living room. The price refers to the matt lacquered finish and the version with feet H2 cm.

Tide reflects the style of its designer, Karim Rashid, who in this project worked on movement and dynamism. The horizontal development of the front, made with thin sheets of MDF equidistant from each other, gives the whole a soft and sculptural look. Tide Buffet is a large and functional sideboard with two drawers and a drop-down door for the living room, but it is also available as a chest of drawers with two drawers and two large baskets for the night environment (Tide Dresser).
Structure, flap door and drawer fronts in panels of melamine and lacquered wood particles. Structure thickness and horizontal division fixed 18 mm, vertical partition fixed 36 mm, back 10 mm. Waves on the door and on the fronts of the drawers made of lacquered MDF, thickness 10 mm. Flap door: hinges with double cross base and height adjustment by eccentric screw with continuous pitch and gas piston with braking opening. Internal and/or external lacquering: white, black, powder, beige, graphite, wine red, brown.
Optional metal base: white, black, vintage burnished, bronze, gilded.

Karim Rashid
Karim Rashid was born in Cairo, Egypt in 1960; he is half English and half Egyptian but raised mostly in Canada. He received a degree in Industrial Design in 1982 from Carleton University in Ottawa, in Canada. He pursued graduate design studies in Naples, Italy, with Ettore Sottsass and others, then moved to Milan for one year at the Rodolfo Bonetto Studio. On his return to Canada, he has been worked for seven years with KAN Industrial Designers. While at KAN, he also co-founded and designed the Babel Fashion Collection and North from 1985 to 1991. All of Karim Rashid's works are exhibited in the world's most famous museums, including: the Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco and New York and the Centre Georges Pompidour in Paris. With his works Karim Rashid won many honors and awards including the prestigious Red Dot Design Award. He opened his own practice in New York City in 1993. He has worked for numerous clients globally such as Alessi, Bonaldo, Vondom, Artemide, Fontana Arte, Umbra, Bobble, Prada, Yahoo!, Edra, Foscarini, Davidoff, Zero Disegno, Magis, Method Home, Issey Miyake, Totem, Pure Design, Zeritalia, Guzzini, Estee Lauder, Tommy Hilfiger, Giorgio Armani, Sony, Leonardo, Zanotta, Maybelline, YSL and others. Nowdays Karim Rashid represents one of the most famous designers thanks to his works heading toward a better future.
