edra - P.I. Colonnello storage

edra Contenitore P.I. Colonnello longho design palermo

Mirror coating and pure volume make it almost "immaterial". Square plan and large internal capacity with four glass movable shelves and one wooden. The interior is covered with essence of smoked eucalyptus. It adapts to any environment, classic or contemporary, camouflaging and increasing
the perspective thanks to its reflections. It opens with a finger. A discreet matte circle on the glossy surface of the mirror
indicates the precise point at which to apply a very light pressure.

Massimo Morozzi

Architect Massimo Morozzi was a member of the Archizoom group until 1972. Between 1972 and 1977 he coordinated the Design Center Montefibre, designing furnishing fabrics and contributing to the birth of the discipline of Primary Design. He then joined the CDM group (Design Consultants Milan), developing coordinated corporate design projects (Airports of Rome) and product lines (Louis Vuitton - Paris). In 1982 he opened his own studio and began to focus on the design of home products. Functional innovation and highly figurative approaches are the keys to his work with Alessi and Cassina. He has developed important projects and creations for Japanese companies, including a concept car for Nissan. He worked as Art Director for Edra and designed several products for the company, including the modular system Italian Landscapes. His works are exhibited in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Musée des Arts Decoratives in Paris.
