Rexite - Zanzibar stool H 65 black

Raul Barbieri

Born in 1946 in Milan, he graduated in Architecture from the Polytechnic in 1972. During his university studies he collaborated with the industrial design department of Olivetti directed by Ettore Sottsass and there he met Giorgio Marianelli, with whom in 1974 he founded the Barbieri studio in Milan and Marianelli Architects. In 1989 he opened his own individual architecture studio in Milan, where he still lives and works. His collaboration with Rexite began in 1978 and became increasingly important and prolific, leading him to assume the role of artistic director of the company. Coordinator of the ADI Designers Department for a long time, he collaborates with numerous Italian and foreign companies and many of his projects receive prizes in the most important international design competitions.

Rexite has been operating in the design furniture sector for more than forty years. From now on, the company has become known to an audience of true Made in Italy lovers.
