The heart of Costume is a body made of recycled and recyclable polyethylene using industrial waste from the furniture and automotive industry. A pocket spring insert provides cushioning for the seat and backrest. On top of this is a thin layer of polyurethane foam. The whole is held together by a fabric lining that can be fixed with tension straps and easily removed at any time.
Costume is an armchair with armrests and structure made of recycled and recyclable polyethylene.  The cover is available in three different types of fabric. The cover is completely removable thanks to the elastic loops attached to the bottom.

Stefan Diez

Born in a family of 4th generation carpenters, Stefan Diez’s initial bond with craftsmanship has profoundly shaped his development as an industrial designer.
