Minotti - Torii sofa

Aerial, with constructive details linked to the Japanese tradition, the Torii aggregable seats play with the rounding of volumes, the lightness of the thicknesses and the apparent formal simplicity of a very articulated project. In the construction of the metal structure of the legs of chairs and tables, Nendo refers to the image of the "torii", the gateway to the Shinto shrines of Japan. With a play of joints, the horizontal elements are supported on vertical supports, ensuring a sophisticated visual lightness to accommodate the padded volume characterized by the couture appearance of the package.
