Roberto Semprini e Mario Cananzi
Born in Rimini in 1959, he studied architecture in Florence, where he graduated in 1986.In 1987 he was part of the design group "Bolidismo". In 1988 he moved to Milan where he collaborated on the sets of "Out of Time" RAI 3 program and the furnishing of the disco "Bolidò" in New York.In 1989 he realized for DISFORM (Barcelona) "Delfin"In 1990 he published "Tatlin" for Edra, a spiral-shaped sofa inspired by the tower of the homonymous author.In 1993 in Dusseldorf with "Tatlin" enters the prestigious international selection of the Top Ten. In 1994 with "Manta" coffee table in curved crystal produced by FIAM the competition Young & Design.In 1995 he designed for Arredaesse the armchair "Chicciola" and for Moroso the chaise-longue "Riccione". In 1996 he presented the furniture collection "Ordine inverso" for Camaeti Arte.
Born in Rimini, University studies in Florence, graduated in Architecture in 1985, with a thesis on the design of a motorcycle prototype. In 1989 the Master in Industrial Design at Domus Academy Milano. Since 1988 in Milan, he deals with design and architecture. As a designer, he works with many companies in the furniture industry: Edra, Vittorio Bonacina, Sawaya & Moroni, Punt Mobles, Boing, Metals, Masterly, Steel, Mimo. He collaborates with motorcycle companies: Piaggio, Aprilia, Bimota, Yamaha and KTM. He has consulted for the design of commercial spaces for companies in the clothing industry. Among the awards and reports, in 1992 the Forum Design Award at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, for the armchair Quadronda produced by Vittorio Bonacina. The following year, on the occasion of the Salone del Mobile in Cologne, the Top Ten award for the Tatlin sofa produced by Edra. He gave lectures and seminars at Domus Academy and Politecnico di Milano.
