Fiam - Echo  Showcase champagne  profiles and doors in fused extralight glass 53x41

Fiam-Vetrina-Echo-misure-53x41-H175-Longho-Design-Palermo

The Echo collection introduces a new element: geometrical patterned effect. This element dismantles the illusion of complete transparency and immaterial glass, giving chromatic, tactile and enlightening suggestions, that are unexpected and constantly changing. The Echo showcase reveals and hides, leaves room for interpretation and imagination, it foregrounds but also asks the tale to adjust and focus.
Showcase with varnished aluminium profiles, available in metalized champagne or vulcan grey finishes. Base in 6 mm thick tempered and back lacquered extralight glass of the same profiles color; relevant glass structure and doors in 6 mm thick extralight, smoke or bronze tempered and fused glass; inner shelves in 8 mm thick extralight tempered glass. The showcase is also available in float (non fused) glass and in semi-reflecting glass. LED lighting system integrated in the structure frontal pillars (optional).

Marcel Wanders

Marcel Wanders was born in Boxtel in 1963, graduated from the Arnhem Art Institute and opened a studio in Amsterdam in 1995. He became famous in 1996 thanks to his iconic Knotted Chair, which integrates high-tech materials and "smart" production techniques.
He is a particularly prolific designer, as well as art director of more than 1,700 projects for private customer and prestigious brands such as Magis, Alessi, Flos and others.
Considered by many to be an exception in the design world, the designer's mission is to "create an environment of love, live with passion and make our most exciting dreams come true." In his creations, Marcel often combines innovative materials with techniques by using references to specific historical styles and archetypes, in order to the user can easily get in touch with the product, enjoying it for a long time and, thereby creating a sustainable environment.
Marcel's main goal is to bring a human touch back into design, accompanying it into what he defines the new age of design, in which designer, craftsman and user come together. In 2001 Marcel co-founded the design brand Moooi, for which he is also artistic director. Interior projects have become increasingly important in Marcel's work, undertaken because they allow for a true sensory experience for users.
Many of Marcel's designs have been selected for major design collections and exhibitions around the world, such as the Museums of Modern Art in New York and San Francisco, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, and the Boijmans van Beuningen Museum in Rotterdam.

Fiam

Vittorio Livi has always had a passion: glass.
The first company he founded, Fullet, produced colored glass for the furniture industry. This was followed by Artiglass, Curvovetro, Cromoglass and Vellutart.
From the merger of some of these companies, FIAM, the first company to make curved glass furniture elements, was born in 1973. Thanks to its technology and collaborations with well-known international designers, FIAM became a leader in its field and some of its products are exhibited in 25 international museums.
After being involved in the renovation of Montegridolfo, a walled village dating back to the 7th century B.C., in 1992 Vittorio Livi acquires and rehabilitates Villa Miralfiore, a historic building in Pesaro dating back to 1260.
Part of the villa is dedicated to Spazio Miralfiore, a museum of glass works produced by Livi and numerous national and international artists.
