The Corniches elements have been created to meet the need for small spaces to store various objects. "Just as we place our things on a cliff before we dive into the sea, we also need a little informal space in everyday life to store our items," explains Ronan Bouroullec. That is why the Corniches elements are neither common shelves, nor simple horizontal surfaces, but rather individual protrusions isolated in the environment that we create. As a shelf for keys next to the entrance door, as a space to place everything that needs to be handy in the bathroom, as a shelf for a small collection of objects or as a large installation, Corniches shelves are a new way to use the walls of our homes. They are made of high quality synthetic material in different shapes, sizes and colors.

Formal perfection, bold lines and creative freedom. These are the watchwords in the projects of the French brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. Born in 1971 and 1976, respectively, the two graduated in art and in the late 1990s they founded their own studio. After being noticed by Giulio Cappellini and having received the first industrial design commissions, The brothers established themselves on the international scene by starting a profitable collaboration with Vitra. Among their customers there are the most important international brands: Ligne Roset , Flos, Magis. From furniture to accessories through architectural projects, Bouroullecs combine essential shapes with innovative materials and techniques that respect nature. These features allowed them to win the Wallpaper* Design Award 2016 as "Best Designers of the Year".
