Qeeboo - Carpet People 1

The People 1 carpet designed by Andrea Branzi underlines the relationship between genetics and design, between mass production and the infinite variants of mankind. Andrea Branzi has decided to tackle the idea of the human infinity starting from genetic evolution: in other words, the people gathering starting from the single couple.

Andrea Branzi, after completing his Architecture studies in Florence, moved to Milan in ’73 where he still lives in and teaches as principal of Product design department at Politecnico University. From 1964 to 1974 he has been part of Archizoom Associates and later on co-founded Domus Academy, receiving the “Compasso D’Oro” Award for his lifetime carrier achievements in 1987. He’s author of several books about history and theory of design.

Qeeboo

Born in 2016 in Milan by Stefano Giovannoni, Qeeboo is an Italian design brand that empowers self-expression with creativity.
