Amini - Sorrento carpet Acqua
The chessboard is the basis of the pattern of the Sorrento carpet, a clear reference to the precious ceramics made for the floors of the Hotel Parco Principi, in the municipality of Vietri, designed by Gio Ponti. Masterpieces in Tibetan wool and natural silk, complements that bring to homes a harmony and a sense of measure that comes from the balance between design, shape and color.

The traditions of the country of origin, Afghanistan, are a very lively and inescapable cultural heritage that the Amini family not only keeps alive and protects, but also places at the heart of its entrepreneurial activity for over half a century. Amini is a brand of ABC, Amini Brothers Company, created in 1962 by Sultan Amini. A unique reality in the interior design sector, ABC is able to design, manufacture and market any type of carpet: from handmade products to those with mechanical processing; from contemporary to refined artist editions in limited edition; from "custom" to large supplies. From Nepal to India, from Afghanistan to Turkey and Morocco: places where carpet weaving is still an expression of local culture.
