Paola Pastorini has designed AROUND COLORS RUGS COLLECTION a collection of rugs for Gebrüder Thonet Vienna, inspired by a careful study of elementary geometric shapes and their juxtaposition, freely drawing on early 20th century trends. A selection of colours capable of softening the rigour of the geometric design, creating furnishings that harmoniously delineate spaces. The rugs are made of wool and silk and are hand-knotted. The collection comprises four carpets, two rectangular YELLOW/PINK, one square GREY and one oval BROWN.
Paola Pastorini
After her humanistic studies, Paola Pastorini began working in the world of design as an assistant stylist for interior design magazines. From there she took her first steps independently until she opened her own design consultant and stylist studio at the beginning of the 90s, working for the most important brands in the sector. In recent years she has begun to design tailor-made products for booths and exhibition stands and today deals with the most recent furnishing accessories in fabric. She designs the first line of AROUND COLORS RUGS COLLECTION carpets for Gebrüder Thonet Vienna.
