Slide - Gelée Grand pouf

The Gelée Grand pouf is the second element of the collection born from the imagination and deep knowledge of the materials of the designer Roberto Paoli. Made of soft polyurethane with metal core, the pouf takes up the lines of the previous model but with a larger diameter, remaining faithful to the concept that recalls the gummy candy so loved by children.  Gelée Grand is a pouf soft and comfortable but very durable thanks to the presence of an internal metal frame; moreover, it is waterproof, fireproof and easily washable, making it perfect for indoor and outdoor environments.
The Gelée collection evokes softness from the first glance, thanks to its shape that recalls the gummy candies so loved by children. Made of soft polyurethane, the Gelée collection is part of Roberto Paoli’s constant search for new materials to which to associate the perfect shape. Composed of the Gelée stool, the Gelée Grand maxi pouf and the Gelée Lounge armchair, the entire collection is able to give a playful and "greedy" touch to anonymous contract spaces and domestic environments, giving all the comfort of soft polyurethane.

Roberto Paoli

Roberto Paoli is an architect and designer, specializing in small-scale design. His careful creative process combines consolidated technical knowledge with an awareness of the performance of materials to innovate and to give substance to products with a high formal cleanliness. His studio deals not only with the design of products, but also with interior design and architecture, developing projects for homes, shops and showrooms, exhibitions and stands. In 2013 he founded his own brand "Seminato Mercadante" with which he self-produced objects of strong research, experimentation and innovation. From 2009 to 2012 he won four consecutive Good Design Awards in Chicago, respectively for the Mir mirror by Fiamitalia, the Flight Linear wall lamp by Nemo Cassina, the Keyra lamp collection and the Nia suspension, both for Leucos.

Indeed, SLIDE creates complete furniture and entire collections, thanks to the collaboration with some of the most famous designers of the world, such as Alessandro Mendini, Paola Navone, Fabio Novembre, Stefano Giovannoni, Marcel Wanders, Karim Rashid, Marc Sadler, Francesco Favaretto and Marcantonio.
