Alessi - Tronchetto vase 

Barkvase is a vase that is part of a collection of objects all inspired by trees, made using a sheet of metal worked into an organic shape to remind a tree trunk covered with its bark.

Andrea Branzi

Born in Florence in 1938, architect, designer. Critic for the magazines Domus, Interni, Casabella and Modo, he is one of the founders of the Domus Academy and one of the members of the EEC Commission for the promotion of European design. He worked for Cassina, Vitra, Zanotta.
