Patrick Jouin

Patrick Jouin was born in Nantes, in 1967, and graduated in 1992 at the ENSCI- Les Ateliers in Paris. His career and foundation his own design studio was in 2009 by a monographic exbihition at Centre Pompidou. He was also honoured with the Compasso D'oro in 2011 for the PastaPot. Many of his creations are in the permanent collections of museums worldwide, including the "Solid" collection at MoMA (Museum of Modern Art of New York). His first series of real-size furniture was in 2004, made by 3D priting technology. In addition, he realized numerous interior design projects including Alain Ducasse’s restaurant and bar at the Hotel Plaza Athénée, the restaurant of the Louis XV, Van Cleef and Arpels’ showroom, among many other trade and hospitality venues in Europe, Asia and the United States.

Alain Ducasse

Alain Ducasse was born in Castelsarrazin in 1956. In 1977 he worked at the Moulin de Mougins of Roger Vergé and in 1978 he joined Alain Chapel, his spiritual master. In 1980, Roger Vergé offers him the position of head of L'Amandier in Mougins. In 1981 he heads the brigade of La Terrasse, restaurant of the Hôtel Juana in Juan-les-Pins, which receives two Michelin stars. In 1987 he became head chef at the Hôtel de Paris in Monaco and director of the restaurant Le Louis XV (three Michelin stars). In 1995, he opened La Bastide de Moustiers , a Michelin star hotel in Provence, and in 1996 he opened the restaurant Alain Ducasse in Paris (three Michelin stars).
