Alessi - Mami pots and pans set 7pcs

Created by the designer Stefano Giovannoni, this 18/10 stainless steel, glossy finish pots and pan set includes a stockpot, two casserole pans of varying size, a saucepan and three lids. Part of the Mami collection, these pans are a hymn to the soft and rounded shapes of the tools which make up the Italian tradition and from which the delicious scents of Sunday lunch for the whole family spread throughout the house.

Stefano Giovannoni

Born in La Spezia in 1954, architect and designer student of Buti at the University of Florence. In the early '80s he formed the King-Kong Production Group together with Guido Venturini. Behind a physique du rôle that seems the opposite of that of a famous designer hides a talent capable of transferring into his projects the complex system of "affective codes" who made him the champion of the "Super & Popular" of the 90s.
Methodical designer par excellence, he has industrial design in his blood and an ability to understand the audience as few. His projects, started with the tray "Girotondo" (1989, designed with Guido Venturini) and with the first playful plastic objects of the series "Family Follows Fiction" (1993), are divided into a large family of objects in production in the catalogues "Officina Alessi", "Alessi" and "A of Alessi".

Alessi

Alessi founded in 1921 as a Workshop for the processing of brass and nickel-silver plates, with foundry, it is recognized for the high quality of its products. In nearly a century of history it has gradually evolved to become a leading exponent of the "Factories of Italian design".
The Company is open to change and international development and also deeply rooted in the tradition and cultural background of its territory. Alessi continues to be synonymous with craft objects made with the help of machines. Today Alessi’s goal is to translate the search for the most advanced cultural, aesthetic, executive and functional quality into the industrial production series. The design product stems from the constant search for mediation between art and industry, between the "Immensity of the Creative Possible" and the needs of the market. The company’s commitment is to constantly work on a boundary line, balancing the most advanced expressions of creativity with the needs of the audience. Alessi has been called a "dream factory". Indeed, through its products it aspires to make its contribution to responding to a desire for people's  happiness, to the need for Art and Poetry common to all people.
