B&B Italia outdoor - Flair O' chair Outdoor

The chair Flair O' Outdoor is characterized by the lightweight aluminum frame completely covered by a woven polypropylene tapes created following a meticulous artisanal process. In particular, the backrest is woven on a special circular frame (tombolo) according to an ancient technique typical of the area where the headquarters of B&B Italia is located. In order to develop it, Monica Armani has collaborated with a PIZZO, a design studio specialized in the recovery and development of traditional weaving techniques revisited in a contemporary key and applied to the furniture industry. The structure, to be chosen in sophisticated shades, is completed by upholstered seat and back cushions that define the shape and guarantee comfort. Flair O' Outdoor is proposed in two heights to be combined with Allure O' Outdoor tables: a classic seat height and a lower one dedicated to relaxation.

Monica Armani

Architect and designer, Monica Armani was born in Trento and lives between her hometown and Milan. She began her professional experience with her father Marcello Armani, an extraordinary rationalist architect, who conveyed her passion for the world of design, the culture of detail, and her enthusiasm for research. In 1996 he began with Luca Dallabetta a brilliant experience of self-production that is very successful with a collection characterized by a pure design and strong innovative content, which lead the Monica Armani brand to establish itself in the contemporary design landscape. In 2005 the project was edited by B&B Italia, and since then has been designing for the most famous companies in the sector. Products treated in every single detail by the team of the studio, which is not limited to the design of the object, but often proposes different functions of use, introducing new techniques and materials and, on some occasions, following all aspects of development, in a total service design concept. Formal aestheticism, innovation and engineering give life to a unique and recognizable style.
