The Erica outdoor armchair, available in two sizes – one wider and deeper for more informal relaxation – features a technological blend of extruded and die-cast aluminium. Its lightness and design, ensuring ergonomic comfort and durability for outdoor use, make it the ideal choice for both public and residential settings.

The seat and back cushions are a guarantee of comfort and relaxation. The frames are available in different finishes, combined with a polypropylene fibre interlacing and a high-strength internal core especially designed for outdoor use. Erica is a complete series of seating elements inclusive of sofas and chairs.

Antonio Citterio

Born in Meda in 1950, he opened his own design studio in 1972 and graduated in architecture from the Milan Polytechnic in 1975. Between 1987 and 1996 he was associated with Terry Dwan; together they built buildings in Europe and Japan. In 2000, with Patricia Viel, he founded a design company, active at an international level, which develops complex design programs, at all scales and in synergy with a qualified network of specialist consultancies.

The studio has now assumed the name of “Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel”. In the industrial design sector he currently collaborates with Italian and foreign companies such as Ansorg, Arclinea, Axor-Hansgrohe, B&B Italia, Flexform, Flos, Hermès, Iittala, Kartell, Maxalto, Sanitec (Geberit Group), Technogym and Vitra. Another important fact, in 1987 and 1994 Antonio Citterio was awarded the Compasso d'Oro-ADI. Since 2006 he has been teaching architectural design at the Mendrisio Academy of Architecture (Switzerland). In 2008 he received the honor "Royal Designer for Industry" from the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce in London.
