Fabio Novembre utilizza il furniture design per raccontare delle storie. Storie intense e coinvolgenti ove sovente protagonista è la figura umana. Una figura umana capace di farsi astratta e universale, capace di proporre una bellezza mitizzata come succedeva con l’arte greca. Così in Nemo un volto dalle sembianze classiche viene scavato per creare uno spazio abitabile. Una testa-poltrona quindi, vissuta dall’interno e che, come una maschera, cela e contemporaneamente rivela il suo abitante.
Fabio Novembre
Fabio Novembre was born in Lecce in 1966 and graduated in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano in 1992. He opened his own studio which immediately became an international reference point for architecture. Over the years, he collaborated with the most important Italian design companies and his work has been recognized and published worldwide for its visionary approach. In 2014, thanks to the partnership with Milan, he would create the new headquarters of the Company, Casa Milan, and the new Club logo. Since 2019 he has been the Artistic Director of Driade, Scientific Director of Domus Academy and member of the scientific committee of the Triennale di Milano Museum of Design.
Driade
Driade is an aesthetic workshop in the continuous search for beauty in living. The extensive catalogue includes furniture for the home, garden and collective spaces.
