Italo Rota

Italo Rota was born in 1953 in Milan, where he graduated from the Polytechnic.  At the end of the 1980s, he moved to Paris, where he signed the renovation of the Museum of Modern Art at the Centre Pompidou (with Gae Aulenti), the new halls of the French school at the Cour Carré of the Louvre, the lighting of Notre Dame cathedral and along the Seine, and the renovation of the centre of Nantes.

The Italo Rota studio handles the complexities of large international projects, from product design to the planning of large urban areas. Italo Rota is the recipient of several awards, including the Gold Medals for Italian Architecture for Public Spaces and Italian Architecture for Culture and Leisure.
