Driade - Nemo armchair glossy red
Fabio Novembre uses furniture design to tell stories. Intense and involving stories where often the human figure is the protagonist, able to propose a mythologized beauty as happened with Greek art. Thus, in Nemo, a face with a classic appearance is excavated to create a habitable space. A head-armchair then, lived from the inside and that, like a mask, hides and simultaneously reveals its inhabitant.
Fabio Novembre
Fabio Novembre was born in Lecce in 1966 and graduated in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano in 1992. He opened his own studio which immediately became an international reference point for architecture. Over the years, he collaborated with the most important Italian design companies and his work has been recognized and published worldwide for its visionary approach. In 2014, thanks to the partnership with Milan, he would create the new headquarters of the Company, Casa Milan, and the new Club logo. Since 2019 he has been the Artistic Director of Driade, Scientific Director of Domus Academy and member of the scientific committee of the Triennale di Milano Museum of Design.
Driade
Driade; is an aesthetic workshop in the continuous search for beauty in living. The extensive catalogue includes furniture for the home, garden and collective spaces.
