With its ethnic yet extremely versatile flavour, Threebù Pot can also be used as a stool/coffee table, Threebù, floor lamp, Threebù Totem, and bottle holder, Threebù Party. Together with the Kroko and Big Kroko chairs, it forms the Afrika collection. With a constant connection with nature, Threebù Pot is available both in standard colours and in the new bioplastic derived from sugar cane, which recalls the colours of the earth and is used for the first time in the world of design.

The iconic nature of a distant world becomes contemporary and close to us thanks to the most serious element that there is: irony. Marcantonio signs the Afrika collection, in which the synthesis and inspiration to African sculpture and art are evident signs. The Afrika collection consists of the Kroko and Big Kroko chairs and the modular elements Threebù, Threebù Pot, Threebù Totem and Threebù Party.

Marcantonio

Marcantonio was born in 1976 and he attended the Art Institute and the Academy of Fine Arts. After graduating, he began working as a theatre set designer and collaborating with several architects. He soon began to create unique design pieces along with an Artistic production, but step by step the two careers began to link each other. Thus, his design is enriched with artistic concepts. Since 2001, he has been working on sculptures, art objects and design projects. His favorite theme is related to the connections between man and nature, in interpreting the dynamics and beauty of nature by showing man's attitude modifying the original. He has learnt from Art how an idea can be elegant, which is why he is always looking for pure and synthetic concepts."I never give up irony, irony is a serious thing. If a good idea is also funny, I cannot help but realise it'.

Giò Colonna Romano knows it well, when he founded SLIDE in 2002: his fancy fantasy matches perfectly with his thirty-year know how in the processing of plastic resins. The first note of amazement is the luminous furniture, which immediately became a must-have in the world of events. Since 2015, his son Marco Colonna Romano has taken over the company with his father’s same desire to grow and innovate. Thanks to a new spirit and the team of young people that work with him, SLIDE has become a beloved company for outdoor furniture: architects and interior designers from all over the world have fallen in love with the new ideas, shapes, materials and tactile textures. Indeed, SLIDE creates complete furniture and entire collections, thanks to the collaboration with some of the most famous designers of the world, such as Alessandro Mendini, Paola Navone, Fabio Novembre, Stefano Giovannoni, Marcel Wanders, Karim Rashid, Marc Sadler, Francesco Favaretto and Marcantonio.
