Louis Poulsen - Nyhavn outdoor wall lamp brushed copper
Nyhavn Wall was designed by Alfred Homann and Ole V. Kjær in 1976. Nyhavn Wall won a prize in a competition for the lighting of old and historic urban areas organized by Louis Poulsen Alfred Homann had worked on designs and models before the competition and then Homann and his colleague, Ole V. Kjær, they were able to present the material in just five days. Alfred Homann explains the idea behind the wall lamp: "It was important that the luminaire be smaller and more discreet than other products on the market at the time". The lamp has a cone-shaped screen and three dipped rings that emit soft, upwards directed light.
