Davide Groppi - Belladinotte floor lamp 3000K outdoor
Belladigiorno. The magic of the mirror brought to the garden. Almost the rediscovery of the mirror. The reflective surface used as a tool to camouflage and hide the machine to make light. The insertion of an artificial body like a mirror in a natural environment is something surprising and unexpected, but at the same time extremely spontaneous.

Maurizio Mancini
Maurizio Mancini is an Italian designer born in Piacenza in 1952. He studied at the Polytechnic of Milan and obtained his degree in architecture in 1976.
He started his career in his father's workshop in Piacenza but from 1985 his ambition led him to collaborate with architects such as Alberto Ferruzzi in his workshop in Via Stendhal in Milan.
His creations met a great success and his new style was quickly noticed. He creates refined and avant-garde lamps and interiors and establishes himself as an atypical designer. His work is marked by a desire to make light important but secondary and discreet in the interiors he creates.
When he collaborated with Davide Groppi, he designed the Belladinotte lamp, which is a good example of his creativity. This design object is equipped with a mirror to conceal the light source. It will light up gardens in an effective and discreet way.
For those who are looking for a floor lamp, the Masai model is the one to choose. It adds a touch of style to your interior with sobriety and subtlety and will delight collectors who want to highlight their artworks with modernity.
He is now a designer who is recognized worldwide and has three design studios in Piacenza, Milan and Paris.
Davide Groppi
Projects coming from the heart and brain, insights emerging from a certain way of being and thinking, where simplicity, lightness, emotion, invention and wonder are the key elements.
Since the late 1980s, starting from a very small workshop in Piacenza's historic center, Davide Groppi has been inventing and producing lamps under the homonymous brand. Over time, his creative and business independence allowed him to develop original and recognizable designs that are distributed worldwide. Projects coming from the heart and brain, insights emerging from a certain way of being and thinking, where simplicity, lightness, emotion, invention and wonder are the key elements. Groppi's lamps arise from the need to give shape to something that is necessary or significant. His inspirations are art, ready-made, magic, the desire to do things with his hands or simply the desire to play and have fun with light. The light, for Davide Groppi, is a wonderful opportunity to seduce and excite. Davide Groppi has always worked with a close-knit group of collaborators, with whom he shares all ideas. Over his many years of activity, he has developed projects and fitting along with several design companies including: De Padova, Boffi, Paola Lenti and Christofle. There are countless works around the world: houses, shops, museums. Significant activity in the hospitality sector. Some of the most important starred chefs have chosen Davide Groppi's light for their restaurants: Albert Adrià, Massimo Bottura, Massimiliano Alajmo, Moreno Cedroni, Carlo Cracco, Gennaro Esposito, Giancarlo Perbellini, Ciccio Sultano and many others. Davide Groppi's work has been repeatedly recognized through publications and awards. We remember the Edida Award, in 2011, for the Sampei lamp; the Design Plus Award, in 2014, for the Neuro lamp; the double XXIII ADI Compasso d'Oro, in 2014, for the Nulla and Sampei lamps; and the ADI Compasso D'Oro Mention of Honour Award for Tetatet, in 2016. The ADI Compasso d'Oro Award is considered the most historic and prestigious design award in the world. From June 2019, Sampei lights up the "Studio alla Vetrata" of the President of the Republic, as part of the "Quirinale Contemporaneo" project.
