Michel Boucquillon
Michel Boucquillon was born in Belgium in 1962. In 1988 he won the competition held by the Chamber of the European Parliament in Brussels, thus beginning his career as an architect and designer. In 2000 he opened a laboratory dedicated to industrial design and experimental architecture in Lucca, inside the "Casa Boucquillon": a place where you can live and work, but also meditate and dedicate yourself to research. Michel currently collaborates with some of the most famous companies in the field of design, including: Alessi, Artemide, Antonio Lupi, Ferragamo, Serralunga. His works are exhibited in several museums and recognized with the most important international awards, of which the most recent: Honorable Mention Compasso d'Oro 2011, Good Design Award 2008, Design Plus 2006.
