Alessi - Convivio pots and pans set

Convivio is the result of a dialogue between Pritzker Prize winner David Chipperfield and the starred chef Pietro Leemann, whose different skills have been combined in the conception of this collection. The name Convivio pays homage to the kitchen as an act at the same time aesthetic and convivial, able to build communities by gathering people around the preparation and enjoyment of food. The designer’s design approach is evident in the centrality of the material, exalted in its simplicity and purity in a sought-after juxtaposition of textures and surfaces.

David Chipperfield

Sir David Chipperfield, British, was born in 1953 in London. David Chipperfield Architects was established in 1984 and the practice has won numerous national and international competitions. In 2004 he was made an Honorary Member of the Florence Academy of Art and Design.
