Artemide - Turn Around track SMD/Suspension curved element R50 cm α 45°
Turn Around inverts the approach to the lighting system, starting from the principles of sustainability, reduction, lightness, integration, optoelectronic intelligence, and freedom of application and interaction. It is a combination of different structural and lighting solutions that adapt to the last minute space thanks to its minimal section. It is a composition based on a very small track, with a patented section dictated by the standard thickness of plasterboard, which allows it to fit into the available space in any situation. Different linear, 90-degree angle and curved modules can be combined with electrical and mechanical continuity, offering maximum freedom to create ever-changing shapes. The freedom to design light into space is guaranteed by the flexibility to combine different geometries within the structure and the possibility of integrating different performances. Indeed, the same track can accommodate a linear module for diffused light, as well as sharping, spot and pendant modules. It is a single 48V-powered continuous energy infrastructure that has no practical limits on length but only on installed power. Turn Around is, moreover, safe thanks to the D.Art technology, designed by Artemide, which overcomes the safety limits of the DALI signal where the same signal is accessible by touch. The DALI signal is transformed into a “SELV" safety extra low voltage ensuring the total safety of the appliances. Turn Around is designed in accordance with international certifications.
Carlotta de Bevilacqua
Entrepreneur, architect, designer, teacher, Carlotta de Bevilacqua is one of the protagonists of design and contemporary entrepreneurial vision. Graduated in 1983 in Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano, she is President and CEO of the Artemide Group and President of Danese Milano. An experienced designer, she has developed an important research path in the field of light. For Artemide and Danese has created many new generation products, recognized with numerous patents of invention and awards. He has introduced innovative technological perspectives and new scenarios in the sensory experience and in the interaction between communication and information (iot), exploring the new frontiers of photonics research.
Artemide
Founded in 1960 by Ernesto Gismondi, chairman, the Artemide Group is located in Pregnana Milanese. It operates through 24 subsidiary and associated companies and boasts a distribution network including 55 single-brand showrooms in the world's most important cities. Artemide products are distributed in 98 several countries.
Technological research, dialogue with architects but also investigation are, indeed, for Artemide the basis of innovative projects able to illuminate the future.
Today Artemide collections represent a unique intersection of values. The human and responsible approach to light is combined with design and material know-how, in a meeting of the latest-generation technology and ancient knowledge, the perfect expression of sustainable design.
