Gardeco - Dance Sculpture
Dance is a bronze sculpture by the Belgian artist Cornelius Vandeputte. In this piece, the sculptor very cleverly intertwines his passion for dance and sculpting. The unusual off white patina and flowing lines evoke movement, tension and emotions. When walking around the sculpture, the viewer can see it moving and twisting, dancing. Cornelius Vandeputte
Guy Buseyne (1961) is a sculptor born and living in Belgium, skilled manufacturer of furniture and graphics. He trained in Plastic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts of the city of Bruges. Buseyne’s work consists of sculptures depicting human beings in a society subject to multiple challenges, natural and man-made disasters, and trying to overcome them. The facial expressions in his projects are undefined, which enhances the universal character of the pieces and arouses a greater sense of identification in the viewer.
The Belgian company was founded in 1999, with a mission to spread new ideas and perspectives through works of art with strong decorative power. All Gardeco sculptures are handcrafted by skilled artisans, thus conveying a strong sense of authenticity. Gardeco could be considered an art publisher that represents artists and craftsmen.
