Continuity, a playful yet elegant limited edition bronze sculpture by Jacques Vanroose, symbolises the ever-evolving dynamic between loved ones. The asymmetry of the composition and distance between the characters suggest that maintaining balance and closeness in relationships takes great effort. To be conscious of this effort, however, is the only way to guarantee a durable, continuous connection between ourselves and the ones close to us.

Jacques Vanroose
Jacques Vanroose is a Belgian artist who studied Plastic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bruges, where he’s also currently based. His preferred working media are bronze and ceramics. Most of Vanroose’s artwork is inspired by dance, more specifically ballet. The artist meticulously studies the human body in movement in order to create timeless sculptures. His sculptures are elegant and graceful, full of movement and emotion.
The Belgian company was founded in 1999, with a mission to spread new ideas and perspectives through works of art with strong decorative power. All Gardeco sculptures are handcrafted by skilled artisans, thus conveying a strong sense of authenticity. Gardeco could be considered an art publisher that represents artists and craftsmen. It’s where new ideas in art meet high-end decoration. A handcrafted and low technology-based production brings on a variation in all shapes and colours, and thereby a strong sense of authenticity to all of our products. Each mould in which our products are made, is made by hand, as well as the final refining details of each product.
