Floor lamp with diffuse light. Base, rod stand and diffuser stand in chrome-plated die-cast zinc. Base cover in zinc-plated P04 steel sheet. Internal diffuser and lamp-holder stand in opal coloured injection die-stamped PC. The external diffusers are available in matching PVC fabric, injection die-stamped methacrylate with clear or smoke-grey finish, or in silver or bronze on the inner surface, by vacuum aluminum coating. Upper ring in clear injection die-stamped PC. Brackets in polished stainless steel. A USB outlet placed on the base enables the most common smartphones and tablets to be recharged (max 2A).

Philippe Starck

Philippe Starck, world-renowned architect and designer, designed for FIAM Caadre glass mirror, which is also available with tv included (Caadre TV). Starck was born in Paris in 1949 and first studied at Notre Dame de Sainte Croix in Neuilly and then he graduated from École Nissim de Camondo in Paris.
An exterior, interior and product architect, Starck is active in every field of design. In 1989 he designed the Asahi and Nani Nani buildings in Tokyo. In 1991, in a single year, he designed a building in Osaka, ten buildings in Los Angeles, the Angle Building in Antwerp, in Belgium, and an entire district in Paris.
As an interior architect, in 1982 he designed the current layout of the Elysée Palace, in 1984 Café Costes and in 1985 Manin in Tokyo.
In addition to furniture collections for French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, and Swiss companies, he created the Fluocaril toothbrush, bags and suitcases for Vuitton, street furniture for Décaux, bottles for Glacier, sailing-boats for Bénéteau, vehicles, cutlery and tableware, and computers.
The awards received by the designer over the years are not few. Among them: Designpreis, Design Plus, iF Design Award, Red Dot Design Award, Good Design Award and Compasso d'Oro.

Among them, Philippe Starck and Antonio Citterio are respectively the fathers of the D'E-light table lamp and the Kelvin LED desk lamp.
